Description
I believe it's possible to show dates right next to the commit hash. This will make it much easier to access any commit from a given date. My use case is network devices configuration database automatically collected by RANCID. Sometimes it's necessary to get historical data. But now it's a pain to get specific revision.

Let me post my comment from IRC: I'd prefer the date to be displayed in a different font/colour (grey? <small>?), if it's possible with select2.
