Description
AFAIK non of the pytests uses the http protocol when doing hg/git operations
there currently is not even a way to write a test that uses the http protocol
so I think we need to build some test infrastructure that allows us to do that

I stand corrected. there are tests that use http. But you have to start them manually at the moment.
